i dont get people who think that every time a band does something slightly different with a new album they need to “go back to their old sound” wtf who would want to listen to a band that wrote the same songs over and over again and didnt grow or change at all 

i think the coolest part of loving bands is getting to grow with them and discover new sounds as they do and fall in love with them in new ways every time they release something
